Bounty Killer - No Argument CD

No Argument - Bounty Killer

In the world of reggae music it takes more than a few hit records to become a star. Renowned for its rebellious stance, reggae requires its leading lights to be heroes, not men of straw. Today's ragga equivalent is no exception.

Bounty Killer is such a character to the people of Jamaica. Like other famous reggae legends before him, he was born in the notorious Kingston ghetto of Trenchtown, moving to the equally fearsome districts of Seaview Gardens and Riverton City as a youth, where his father operated a small sound-system. From the age of nine, the young Rodney Price - inspired by dee-jays like Brigadier Jerry and Ranking Joe - would entertain local crowds at impromptu dances held on street corners, sharpening his rhyming skills and learning the art of dee-jaying where it hurts; in front of the most discerning reggae audience there is!

Unlike arch-rival Beenie Man, his first opportunity to record didn't arrive for some time, despite his two cousins having already established themselves in the music business. One of them, the dee-jay John Wayne, encouraged him to visit King Jammy's studio in nearby Waterhouse, where he recorded his debut "Gun Must Done" as Bounty Hunter for Jammy's brother Trevor "Uncle T" James in 1990. Still only eighteen years old, the maturity of his lyrics (condemning Kingston's lawless gunmen) and deep, growling yet melodic vocal style immediately singled him out as a talent to watch.

Soon afterwards, the Hunter became the Killer; Bounty establishing an even more militant image to distinguish himself from rival MCs with similar monikers. Tunes like "Champion" and "Gunshot Fi Informer" quickly followed, but it was the rampant "Spy Fi Die" for King Jammy's son John John which became his first significant hit.

In the early '90's the reggae public thirsted for larger-than-life characters capable of taking on all-comers and asserting the hardened, streetwise attitudes rife in the deprived ghettos of Jamaica. By lashing out at not only the musical competition but also paid government informers, political corruption and police brutality, Bounty Killer quickly became a force to be reckoned with.

These early sessions resulted in his debut album "Jamaica's Most Wanted", released by Greensleeves in 1993. Collecting together the best of his work with Uncle T and John John, this album cemented his reputation as the most outspoken dee-jay of his generation. Containing all the hits plus raw gun lyrics like "Gun Thirsty" and the harsh realism of "Man Ah Suffer" and "Roots, Reality & Culture", Bounty's first set propelled him to the forefront of ragga MCs.

It was around this time that his on-stage (and on-record!) rivalry with fellow dee-jay Beenie Man began in earnest. Both shared a similar vocal style; both claimed to have originated it, and accused the other of piracy. Fact is, Beenie Man's career had been on hold for years before Bounty Killer's emergence, but both came out blazing on the 1994 Greensleeves album "Guns Out", which pitted the pair in mortal combat over Jammy's toughest rhythms.

His next act was even more contentious. Jamaica's new Police Commissioner took incisive steps to stem the spread of violent dee-jay lyrics and Bounty responded with "Not Another Word", a massive hit in both JA and the UK. The anthemic "Down In The Ghetto" followed; another powerful reality tune, which in turn led to his second solo album of the same title. Hailed as 'Album Of The Year' by the world's reggae press, "Down In The Ghetto" at last fulfilled all his early promise, matching hard-hitting cultural lyrics with outlaw tunes of classic proportion. Tracks like "How The West Was Won" have since passed into ragga folklore, as well as translating successfully into hip-hop and ragga/jungle hits. The release of the album coincided with his first UK shows at the beginning of 1995, Bounty Killer sharing a bill with several of King Jammy's other leading artists.

By now the undisputed champion of Jamaican dee-jays, the avalanche of hit tracks continued without cease throughout 1995. "Cellular Phone" for John John was a No.1 smash, whilst "Action Speaks Louder Than Words", "Searching" (featuring Sanchez), "Cellular Number", "Miss Ivy Last Son" (the latter for Uncle T) and the militant "No Argument" - one of his rare excursions for former Jammy engineer Bobby Digital's label - all maintained his reputation for catchy delivery, memorable lyrics and the most uncompromising attitude in modern reggae.

These tracks now form the basis of his third Greensleeves album, "No Argument". Packed with hits and reflecting his sheer dominance of the international dancehall market, the champion dee-jay has delivered yet another milestone of contemporary ragga; no other current JA act managing to capture the imagination of the reggae public in quite so spectacular a fashion.

Yet still he hasn't let up; increasing the pace during 1995 with the formation of his own Priceless label and further hits for King Jammy and John John, including "Convince", the riotous "Suspense" and best-selling double-headed ragga/rock'n'roll single "Book Book"/"More Gal", all again released by Greensleeves in the UK.

TRACKS

1. Cellular Phone

2. Scare Him

3. Seek God

4. More Gal

5.
Bounty Killer - My Xperience CD

My Xperience - Bounty Killer

Bounty's U.S. debut comes fully loaded with piercing ghetto-reality chants--many of them remixes of Jamaican hits and some featuring American hip-hop artists like Busta Rhymes, Lauryn Hill, and Jeru Da Damaja.
Bounty refused the Jamaican Labour Party's craven request to adopt the lead track, "Fed Up," as its campaign song.
Instead, the cut became an anthem for Jamaicans' frustration with the litany of empty promises made by both of the country's parties.
But beyond politics Bounty is a master of life's various facets, including guns, girls, ganja, and religion. "Benz & the Bimma" works the automobile-female chassis simile much too cleverly to cause anyone offense.
Other track titles--"Guns & Roses," "The Lord Is My Light and Salvation," "Mama," "War Face," "Mi Nature," and "Suicide or Murder"--suggest that Bounty's "xperience" is broad indeed. --Elena Oumano

TRACKS

1.
Tanya Stephens - Rebelution CD

Tanya Stephens - Rebelution CD

Tanya Stephens is a singer/ songwriter that transcends the
traditional borders of reggae. Her music explores
relationships, sexism, racism and love with sophistication,
passion and wit. Having made her name on the dancehall
circuit of the late '90s, Tanya took it to another level
with the 2004 album Gangsta Blues which thoroughly grew her
audience beyond the boundaries of reggae. Songs like 'What A
Day" and the international hit "It's A Pity" helped position
her as an import musical voice. "Rebelution Is - A movement
of truth without denial or regret".

TRACK LISTING

1 WELCOME TO THE REBELUTION

2 WHO IS TANYA

3 PUT IT ON YOU

4 TO THE RESCUE BALLROOM FLOOR- BUNNY WAILER

5 VOICE MAIL SKIT

6 STILL A GO LOOSE

7 DAMN YOU

8 THE TRUTH

9 SPILLED MILK

10 SATURDAY MORNING SKIT

11 CHERRY BRANDY

12 SUNDAY MORNING

13 KEEP LOOKING UP

14 COME A LONG WAY

15 DO YOU STILL CARE

16 WARN DEM

17 TO THE LIMITS-CALL ON YOU-BURNING SPEAR

18 THESE STREETS

19 DIRTY THOUGHTS-MR.BROWN

20 DON'T PLAY

The Biggest Dancehall Anthems CD - 1979 - 1982 (DOUBlE CD)

The Biggest Dancehall Anthems CD (1979 - 1982)

THE BIGGEST DANCEHALL ANTHEMS 1979-82

The Birth of Dancehall

Greensleeves presents The Biggest Dancehall Anthems 1979-82, an unmatched collection of the biggest, most-legendary hits forged when a rugged new mood and a tough, stripped-down, new sound came to dominate the music of Jamaica. A sound that they named Dancehall.

Dancehall was just what it claimed to be: a music to take Jamaicans back to the ghetto dances, back to the birthplace of all that was great in reggae, back home - where it remains to this day.

Dancehall was the swinging sound of the ghetto: more importantly, it was a sound driven by the ghetto's youth; a sound to capture the mood of the day; a sound that took you far beyond the front line.

Now The Biggest Dancehall Anthems 1979-82 offers us all a chance to go back to dancehall school, a chance to revisit all those incredible hits from 'nineteen longtime'...

So, back in the day ...

By the late 1970's Jamaican music was ripe for re-invention: the revolutionary zeal of Rasta had declined into orthodoxy and convention while Lovers Rock sometimes seemed tepid and pale.

Dancehall emerged at a time when many international record companies were trying to water Reggae down with a romanticized, pastoral 'roots' sound that was a million miles away from the fire of Tubby's, Randys, Studio One or any of the great Jamaican studios.

While international companies followed this path, tune after tune poured out of Jamaica into the eager clutches of hungry dancehall fans. Tunes that were completely ignored by a sniffy and complacent old guard to whom Dancehall was not 'proper' reggae.

In England Roots and Lovers were available in abundance but, outside specialist stores, Dancehall was an almost unobtainable commodity. Night after night tunes that reverberated in clubs like The Four Aces, The Bouncing Ball, All Nations and The Q Club were only to be found on import Jamaican seven-inch singles. Day after day, this new music poured out of Greensleeves' shop in Shepherds Bush on JA pressings that were often only available in limited quantities. As a result, a conscious decision was made by Greensleeves to concentrate on the new ghetto sounds, on the youth artists and new producers thrown up on this new wave of Jamaican creativity.

As much as anyone, these new artists were represented by Barrington Levy and the new ghetto producers were epitomised by Henry "Junjo" Lawes. When 'Shine Eye Gal' hit the stores, it moved like a runaway train. The core sound of this new revolution was a distillation of Junjo's production magic, The Roots Radics' rhythms and the whole Channel One vibes with Junjo at the helm and Scientist on the mix.

As much as anything Dancehall represented a change in flavour, a new mood for a new generation of artists. Earlier movements had been heralded by the works of established artists: Dennis Brown, Bob Marley, Burning Spear and Gregory Isaacs had scored hit after hit in Jamaica before the wider world had latched on to them. Even the fist generation of Reggae music to hit the shores of England (Ska) crossed over several years after it had ruled Jamaica.

But now, here was a sound that arrived straight off the plane, fresh out of the ghetto. It was here: flash, brash, independent and on our streets TODAY. It was all happening faster than before and the established stars of the day were quick to catch the vibes. Alongside the new stars like Toyan, Yellowman, and Eek-A-Mouse artists like John Holt, The Wailing Souls and Johnny Osbourne would see their careers scale new heights over the thunderous drive of the new Dancehall vibe.

Back in Jamaica, Linval Thompson and Jammys - amongst other producers - were quick to latch onto the big new sound. Junjo - well Junjo just RULED... Junjo didn't just bring a new sound, he brought a whole new style and fashion: a crisp, sharp new look. A look that every youth aspired to - that was aspirational and cool, that signified independence and confidence; that posed and commanded respect. A look that defined the time and mood. This look was theirs - 'pants length', Beaver hats, Clarks' booties, goldchains & chaps. BMW & Mercs ran t'ings. It all went with a music that was theirs.

Everyone, just everyone was outside Channel One, waiting for the chance to voice for Junjo. Waiting to get their one chance out of the fierce ghetto heat. Down at the 'Creamy Corner' talent shows the youths queued up for their chance to get noticed, to get that black vinyl ticket to stardom.

As fast as others' tunes came up on import, Junjo would visit England bringing a host of artists with him and a heap of new tunes he'd recorded. There were times when Greensleeves' shop would be like downtown Kingston with Junjo, Eastwood and Saint, Barrington Levy, Ranking Dread and Linval Thompson sparring around. By this time Junjo, and with him the whole mood of Dancehall, had reached such a heightened pitch of confidence that we, from our Shepherds Bush base, could suggest to Junjo that he make a tune with, say, Don Carlos or Michael Prophet. He delivered the goods every time.

When we suggested to him a Wailing Souls project (the tune 'War' being the first 12" ever released on Greensleeves), nothing could have prepared us for the stunning results. When he came up with the 'Firehouse Rock' tapes we were, well... numbed by its power (check the title track or 'Kingdom Rise Kingdom Fall' on this compilation). It seemed he could do anything and, alongside projects suggested by us, realised by him, homegrown hits like 'Morning Ride' and 'Wa-Do-Dem' just flowed out of Junjo's stable one after the other.

'Morning Ride' was Yellowman's tribute to Fae Ellington's morning show on JBC. At that time in Jamaica it was rare to hear any Reggae on air and, if you were lucky, Fae's 'Morning Ride' show was one of the few places your ears might get lucky. Yellowman, hoping he might get lucky with Fae, scored a massive hit in JA with this tune.

'Wa-Do-Dem', Mouse's legendary classic, was originally voiced at Joe Gibbs as 'Virgin Girl', but the veteran producer kicked the youth out of his studio along with his "idiot" tune. Mouse promptly went round to Junjo who leapt on the tune, turning it into what is undeniably one of THE 80's classics.

Dancehall embraced it all: serious tunes like 'Kingdom Rise Kingdom Fall' rubbed shoulders with comedy like General Echo's 'Bathroom Sex' (produced in the new style by veteran producer Winston Riley). Topical tunes like Michael Prophet's 'Gunman' ran alongside downright hilarious oddities like Tony Tuff's 'Come Fe Mash It'. No other music could take 'Three Blind Mice' as a rhythm, put a grown man yodelling over it and come up with such vibes. Dancehall was unique.

And listening to their music today it sounds as fresh as the moment it was minted: tough, vibrant, exciting, and passionate. Jewels of ghetto poetry such as Junior Delgado's 'Love Tickles Like Magic' and Ranking Dread's 'Fattie Boom Boom' would run sound systems ragged in JA and UK.

Some tunes, like Eastwood and Saint's 'Tribute to General Echo', were voiced in England over rhythms that Junjo had laid in Jamaica. The DJ Duo was here when news arrived of Echo's death in a hail of police bullets. Eastwood was a personal friend of Echo's and the Reggae community at large was in a state of shock at the death of the man known as the 'People's Star'.

Echo, an inimitably talented DJ renowned for his 'slack' tunes such as the aforementioned 'Bathroom Sex', was also famed for his legendary prowess live on sound systems. As a spinner of long running, improvised tales in the dance he was unmatched and hardcore fans would collect these live performances on bootleg 'sound-tapes' as eagerly as his new release records. Echo was also capable of moving performances such as can be heard on 'Eventide Fire A Disaster'. This tune tells the true story of a fire that engulfed the Eventide Old People's homes in Jamaica, a fire in which many residents were killed. The moody, atmospheric rhythm perfectly captures the best of Echo as a DJ. At the news of his death, Eastwood and Saint came into the shop and performed the tune to us. That Saturday night we went into the studio and voiced the tune right off. The tune's atmosphere of shock and despair mirrors that of 'Eventide Home' and it went straight through the roof as people rushed to express their grief at the loss of their star.

As a result of Tribute's success, Eastwood and Saint were asked to perform at that year's Black Echoes Awards Show, where among other tunes they gave a first airing to "Another One Bites The Dust". The show was on Sunday night and the following Monday every distributor, shop and punter we'd ever seen were beating down our door for a piece of a tune that hadn't even been voiced yet! Again, it was laid down in England on a Junjo rhythm. The tune was clean gone the minute it landed from the pressing plant.

Veteran artist John Holt also benefited from Junjo's magic touch. Holt, who'd walked the middle of the road with more artistic and commercial success than most, suddenly found himself back in the heart of the downtown Kingston. Junjo, who'd written Ghetto Queen for him takes us directly to the heartland of Dancehall: the ghetto. This ode to Junjo's girl of the time places her precisely in this world: "She lives in the heart of the city / Down there where there is no pity / She knows the rude of the rudest / She lives among the baddest of the baddest." This a world where, to get a pair of natty strides, a youth would have to go the tailor's to get a 'pants length' of material for his strides. A world were to 'carry the swing' involved going to lengths that we would never have to contemplate in our off-the-peg world.

The truth is, as we experienced it through the filter of Junjo's Dancehall genius, that Junjo could do no wrong. Tunes like Johnny Osbourne's 'Ice Cream Love' were written by Junjo as he sat outside the shop watching passers-by eating ice cream. 'Mushroom' from Johnny Osbourne's 'Fally Lover' album was written in response to Junjo seeing people buy 'duppy food' from the fruit and veg stall that was next to the shop in those days - check the illustration on the old Greensleeves 12" 'disco' bag, and the shop is there.

Describing cultural phenomena always tempts us to suppose that specific events define the shape of subsequent trends. We search for markers that define the ideals we wish to impose on a time and ignore anything that weakens our thesis.

For us, obviously, Junjo made a huge impact on our experience of Dancehall. However, life is usually more fluid and complex than hindsight would have us admit. The temptation to edit and simplify leaves little room for the muscularity and elasticity of a heritage as vibrant as that of reggae.

In describing this album as 'The Birth of Dancehall' we are looking back to a time when the youths of Kingston - as generations before them and since - turned the mood and style of what had gone before into something vital of their own. Something created out of their own experience and informed by the works of their predecessors, who themselves were newly invigorated by vibes of the day. Jamaicans, with their customary innovation and elan, had created a new music that embraced the past and heralded the future. Something that swaggered with heart; that celebrated both individuality and community; that loved life and dismissed cynicism; that was fashionable but followed no crowd. A music alive in the passionate heart of the ghetto. A music big and bold, brash and beautiful, proud and unbowed...

As Mundell put it, in the language of the day:

"Cause my pants length would pay your two months rent"

It was something that showcased Jamaican culture in full force: as ardent and revolutionary as when Yard music first captured the world's imagination. Something as serious or as funny as Jamaicans wanted it to be, as lewd, inspired or as ghetto-fabulous as the youths demanded.

Something that delivered what it promised... something called DANCEHALL.

Brendan O'Leary 2002

TRACKLISTING
Highest chart positions shown in brackets for each title

  1.
Elephant Man - Monsters Of Dancehall CD

Elephant Man - Monsters Of Dancehall CD

This is the first in Greensleeves Records brand new 'Monsters Of Dancehall' series, which as part of our 30th year anniversary celebrations focuses in on our most celebrated dancehall artists, past and present. The first artist under the spotlight is none other that Elephant Man, the 'punk of dancehall'.

This is the ESSENTIAL Elephant Man album, which draws together all the BIG tunes from the self-proclaimed 'Energy God'. Prior to his recent signing to P Diddy's Bad Boy label and before his Atlantic album 'Good To Go', Greensleeves' released three Elephant Man albums: 'Comin' 4 You!', 'Log On' and 'Higher Level'. It was these albums that propelled Elephant Man to a worldwide audience and the tracks featured on this compilation come from that period. Most of which, have never appeared on an album before.

Elephant Man - the man who put the fun and excitement back into dancehall music - comes with x-amount of lyrics and mayhem with massive dancehall anthems including 'Elephant Message', 'Shizzle Mi Nizzle, 'Krazy', 'Egyptian Dance', 'Jamaica', 'Chiney Ting', 'Log On', and 'Truth Hurts', on BIG rhythms like 'Diwali'. 'Mad Ants', 'Egyptian Dance', 'Martial Arts', 'Coolie Dance', 'Sign' and many, many more.

From the biggest labels and producers in reggae today, such as Byron Murray (In The Streets), Don Bennett (Don Corleon), King Jammys, Steven 'Lenky' Marsden (40/40), Jeremy Harding (2 Bad), Winston 'Wee Pow' Powell (Stone Love), and Cordel 'Scatta' (King of Kings)

Tracklisting

  1.
Matisyahu Youth CD

Matisyahu Youth CD - Matisyahu Youth

MATISHAHU literally stands out like no other. Beyond his
versatile voice which ranges from sweet and fluid, to rough
and rugged, he's very unexpected face, standing over six
feet tall and wearing the traditional garb of a Hasidic Jew.
With his long beard and black hat, this 24-yr-old lyricist,
MC, and beatboxer is a singular performer, whose distinctive
cultural influences. His album, Live at Stubb's, Austin TX,
became his breakout album and spawned the radio hit "KING
WITHOUT A CROWN (LIVE)", which segues into airplay for the
studio version of the same song included on his new album
YOUTH.

Recorded by dub guru Bill Laswell,YOUTH is a huge step
forward for MATISHAHU and clearly shows his growth, and
emormous potential.

TRACK LISTING

FIRE OF HEAVEN/ALTAR OF EARTH YOUTH

YOUTH

TIME OF YOUR SONG

DISPATCH THE TROOPS

INDESTRUCTABLE

WHAT I'M FIGHTING FOR

JERUSALEM

WP

SHALOM/SAALAM

LATE NIGHT IN ZION

UNIQUE IS MY DOVE

ANCIENT LULLABY

KING WITHOUT A CROWN

Ragga Jungle Dubs CD - Various Artists

Ragga Jungle Dubs CD - Various Artist

Mixes by. Ridley Don DJ Monk Sensi Crew Reel II Reel New Blood Crew

Back in mid 90's, Jungle music was the order of the day, and Greensleeves released 2 sets of 'Ragga Jungle' volumes 1 and 2 which both sold by the trailer load. The scene then spiraled off into what became known as Drum and Bass, and has gone through many changes and sub-genres over the years. Now with a revived interest in Jungle music, in particular Ragga Jungle, the renaissance has sparked a new generation of fans and the return of many old school fans and producers alike. The Junglists have welcomed the return of dubby sub bass and ragga vocals have gradually regained favour, no doubt helped by the recent crossover of Dancehall music.

At first Jungle music was exclusively a UK phenomenon bridging reggae/dancehall and the rave scene - a result of the British black youth's take on the burgening dance music scene - but soon broke out and eventually crossed the atlantic and eventually conquered the world.

So here we present a collection of unreleased cuts and dub versions of some of those big tunes from "back in the day", with vocals from artists like Barrington Levy, Beenie Man, Ninjaman, Johnny Osbourne, Admiral Bailey, Josey Wales and Ini Kamoze, and with remixes by the Junglist massive including Ridley Don, DJ Monk, Sensi Crew, Reel II Reel and New Blood Crew.

Many of these cuts were only ever released on limited 12" & are very rare cuts that have never left the Greensleeves vault, until now.

Tracklisting

  1.
12" Rulers CD - Various Artist

12" Rulers CD - Various Artist

Twelve Inch Rulers' is the first in a brand new series to coincide with the 30th year anniversary of Greensleeves Records.

The series will concentrate on those classic 12" singles that Greensleeves have released over the years and that record collectors remember so fondly - and of which, many have never appeared on CD. The series will be spilt into "Producer" and genre selections such as "Dub", "DJ", "Vocal" and "Dancehall".

This first selection focuses in on the talents of the late Henry "Junjo" Lawes, a producer who had a very special relationship with Greensleeves from 1979 when the pair scored a huge hit with Barrington Levy's "Englishman". Kingston based Lawes continued to supply Greensleeves with sparse and heavy productions that were to dominate reggae's emergent dancehall culture for the next few years. Lawes was to discover a wealth of newcomers, including Barrington Levy, Scientist, Yellowman, Eek-A-Mouse, Josey Wales, Wailing Souls, Ranking Toyan and Frankie Paul, all of whom released breakthrough albums on Greensleeves.

All tracks featured here feature the Roots Radics and were recorded at Channel One and mixed by Scientist, Soljie and Barnabas at King Tubbys studio.

Most of the tracks featured here have never appeared on CD before and Wailing Souls 'Firehouse Rock' is exclusive to this release and has have seen the light of day, until now.

This CD will contain extensive sleeves notes, with stories, quotes and previously unseen pictures of Henry "Junjo" Lawes.

Select cuts will be released in their original house bags to coincide with this release.

Astonishing music, and a tribute to Greensleeves and the great man Lawes, that ensures his considerable contribution to reggae music will never be forgotten.

Tracklisting

1.
Reggae Gold 2000 CD

Reggae Gold 2000 CD

Morgan Heritage is back with the highly anticipated follow-up to Don’t Haffi Dread (the group’s best selling album to date). Riding the wave of “Down By The River” (the group’s biggest selling single to date) More Teachings is positioned to be their biggest album yet! Morgan is a familiar name to many reggae music fans for the songs of Morgan Heritage, LMS and Denroy ‘Daddy’ Morgan for his years and many successes in the music business.
The brothers and sisters of the Morgan family constitute a powerhouse of music and have become the first family of Reggae.
The dynasty runs as deep as their lyrics. The new album features “Down By The River”, “Jah Seed”, “Same Old Song” and “H.I.M. Come” showing the musical dynamism and versatility of the new voice of roots reggae, Morgan Heritage. The album combines the inimitable Morgan ‘roots’ sound with various R&B, Hip Hop and Pop flavors to please a wide and varied audience. The songs convey deep doctrinal issues pertinent to the Ras- Tafarian movement while also touching on universal themes.
More Teachings does just that, spreading wisdom, inspiration and information to the reggae nation.

TRACK LISTING

1 LOOK - BOUNTY KILLER

2 GOOD IN HER CLOTHES - CAPLETON

3 COOK - LEXXUS

4 HOT GAL TODAY (REMIX) - SEAN PAUL & MR.VEGAS

5 WHAT AH GAL - DELLY RANKS

6 SATAN STRONG - PROFESSOR NUTS

7 MAGNET - RICHIE STEPHENS & BOUNTY KILLER

8 THEY GONNA TALK - BERES HAMMOND

9 DOWN BY THE RIVER - MORGAN HERITAGE

10 PSALMS 23 - BUJU BANTON & MORGAN HERITAGE

11 GANJA FARM - BEENIE MAN

12 KEEP THEM COMING - WAYNE WONDER

13 ONE OF THESE DAYS - GLEN WASHINGTON

14 BACK AT ONE - SANCHEZ

15 NUH PLAY CHESS - MADD ANJU

16 WAR FOREVER - BABY CHAM

17 CALL U - LEXXUX & LADY SAW

18 STALAG Y2K - VARIOUS

Ziggy Soul - Genesis CD

Ziggy Soul - Genesis CD

It is no surprise, then, that on his second album, recently released through VP Records by Glory Music, 'Psalmist' appears before the dreadlocked singer's name.
